You’d pretty much have to have been living in a cave somewhere, for a very long time, without communication to the outside world, not to associate Nashville, TN with the music industry. But there’s actually lot more to Nashville than that.
For instance, Nashville boasts a thriving tech community, and has long been a key hub for Jamersan’s Magento meetups. This year is no exception. On Wednesday, February 7th, Nashville, TN will become the second stop as we roll out our 2018 Magento meetup series.
So, we thought, what better venue to host the meetup than Third Man Records, founded by Jack White (The White Stripes), a label that has quickly gained an outstanding reputation in the resurgent vinyl record industry. (After all, it is Nashville!)
We will convene at 5:30 sharp, for a thirty minute networking session (complete with sandwiches, beer, and other refreshments). Following that we will present two brief technical presentations:
Jamersan CEO, TJ Gamble will discuss progressive web apps (PWAs) and explain why we believe they represent the future of all websites, and how they will dominate the eCommerce landscape for years to come.
Matt Lano, with Rocketweb, will examine the most common obstacles to replatforming a new cart, and explain how best to overcome them.
After the two presentations, there will be ample time to engage in an informative and productive session of Q&A.
We’re excited to be back for another great meetup in the Music City and we look forward to visiting with our old friends and hopefully making some new ones, as well. Please join us if you can – click here to register!
